Potent and priced well. My wife suffers from insomnia so she uses Valerian every night to help he relax so she can fall asleep, as well as to help her stay asleep through the night. We’ve gone through a lot of brands and strengths of Valerian over the years and this is one of the better ones we’ve used.

Assists With Calm, Comfortable Feelings If you are looking for a fast acting sleep aide, Valerian is not for you. The first time I tried it, I took two Valerian capsules an hour before bedtime, and I felt comfortable and calm, but not sleepy. I use a deep breathing exercise before bed that assists me in sleep readiness.After a few weeks I found I had a better night’s sleep using Nature’s Way Valerian. I do not use it during the day, only at night. The Valerian is a root, and that is what the odor is a root. Not unpleasant to me. It is simple to swallow the capsule and I did not have a bad tasting mouth.I feel comfortable knowing this is not addictive, but one of nature’s methods of assisting with sleep.Recommended. prisrob 01-06-17

Incredible I have been a flaky sleeper for as long as I can remember, but this, taken 1/2 hr. before sleep along with 3 mg of melatonin gets me to sleep within minutes and allows me to sleep through the entire night. No grogginess or other side effects in the morning. Know that you may have to take it for a few weeks to enjoy its full efficacy. That was the case with me. Now that it’s in full function though, I feel better than I have in years. A big bonus is that I have very vivid dreams too. That’s fun. This seems to be the best value around for a potent and high-quality supplement. I haven’t found better, though if you have please let me know.
